Clients originally insisted that they wanted to go on the market 'as is'. As in, 2002 paint colors and condition. This was NOT going to work in the downtown Chicago market, in November, knowing the sellers had another home they needed to get to in January. My painters and handy people painted EVERYTHING (especially the ceilings!) and I finished the staging job started when they agreed to donate their outdated or oversized furniture collection. This was an amazing sale at the most challenging time of the year. Sellers closed on both the buy and sell the same week - exactly as they had hoped!

We went with a light neutral paint replacing the warm yellow (see before) and one mirror instead of dozens of small inmages.

Seller downsized from an 8 seat rectangle dining table with upholstered chairs to 6 seater with lower profile chairs. We tightened up the pendants for the smaller table and sellers enjoyed the new larger space. A large mirror was hung to expand the space further.
