What a beauty - when we were finished, that is! Client had a good number of book shelves, books, equipment for her home office and a few pieces of extra large furniture that just had to go away to show off how seriously cute this space is. Gone is the farm-style dining table, overstuffed leather couch, huge end tables, futon, leaning bookshelves and very dated "contemporary" lighting that didn't do any favors. Easy to see things like new smaller pieces of furniture, serious pops of color, the new neutral paint as gentle backgrounds and much better lighting got the seller 5 offers in two days.

Table is CB2 and chairs are Target. IKEA mirror gives impression of another room. Cafe curtains replaced curtains that completely covered the windows. New recessed lighting was added as well as pendants (these are only $35 each! Light and bright was the mission. Achieved!!

There were odd lights above that were clearly not adequate. We added recessed lights and painted this kitchen from peachy yellow to light gray to brighten it up. Added VERY cool art from HomeGoods and a few fun plates from Anthropologie above the sink.
