Lincoln Square Charmer

"How one lives in their home is often quite different than how one sells a home" was never as true as this home's transformation to market. The owner is a well-known and loved Irish folk singer and often used this wider-than-most home as a venue to showcase artists, musicians and 'creative types'. More bohemian-styled, colorful and eclectic, the home needed to look conventional to get top dollars while still giving a nod to the eclectic, colorful owner.

expanded living room in a 1910 house. Seller often used this room as a main-stage for large musical gatherings and performances. Super-pleased to use many of the sellers treasures including the spinning wheel, pie chest, bench and slim cabinet.

Another shade of green! This room is right off the kitchen so kept green/white theme. New vanity, toilet, fixtures, and floor with white ceramic penny tiles keeps look traditional, vintage yet crisp.

Seller had refaced the cabinets 2 years prior and painted the walls yellow. Look read charming and vintage but needed to be crisper for the more modern aesthetic. Edited out all normal counter-clutter to show beautiful granite and custom tile counters

happy chairs were collected from elsewhere in the home and flank a stained slim chopping block table. Plenty of room for a larger table but each piece looks like they were designed to be there along with an aunt's painting.

The goal was to retain as much of the original bath as possible while updating only where necessary: tiles were painted, tub re-glazed, new window installed, classic medicine cabinet in great shape but needed to install new lighting as the original light cover could not be replaced. GFI added.
