seller had a beat-up and dated loft in a hot part of town that was an easy rental. The floors - very scarred and yellowed maple - had to be refinished and a dark popular finish was chosen. The also very yellow oak cabinets with black plastic accents were painted white (we left the choice of knobs for the buyer) and new stainless appliances replaced black ones. Paint was limited to the neutral seen on outside walls and white with gray in the bath. New lighting was installed and others updated. Furniture, art, accessories, lighting was added to buyers visualize their own things. Multiple offers first day on market was the result!!
