Avenue H is a 1922 bungalow with a casita in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Central Austin. Cravotta Interiors restored the house as an exercise in restrained, casual elegance. The interior mixes vintage and modern pieces: a walnut and polished chrome dining table on a vintage Moroccan rug, wire-frame chairs with leather seats, a porcelain-drop chandelier by Original BTC, and art by Fernand Leger. A cypress backsplash and a white shaker kitchen keep the original character while the rooms read fresh and current.
