Clarksville is a complete remodel of a 1930s bungalow in the Clarksville neighborhood of Austin, the first of many projects Cravotta Interiors has designed for this client. The two-bedroom home gained an upstairs media room and den. The work stayed faithful to the original architecture while making the house feel current for daily living. The primary bedroom mixes new and antique: a low leather bed on an antique rug, a steel and leather nightstand designed by Cravotta, an antique Japanese cabinet, and a Lindsay Adelman light fixture. Original oak floors carry through.
