Cypress Lounge is a gathering space and private lounge for tenants of the Frost Tower in San Antonio, a new-construction project Cravotta Interiors designed with architect Michael Imber. The walls are clad in sinker cypress milled specifically for the space, century-old logs recovered from Texas river bottoms, where mineralization hardened the wood and gave it its green cast. The private dining room pairs a Cravotta-designed table with Jiun Ho chairs in cowhide, an Apparatus Studio light fixture, Japanese printed wallpaper, a stepped plaster ceiling, and wine lockers.
