Hyde Park Bungalow is a full remodel of a 1927 historic home in Austin. The design brings a fresh, modern approach to daily living while honoring the original architecture, blending new and vintage pieces with an art collection chosen for the clients. In a small house, one bedroom had to serve two girls, ages seven and nine. Cravotta designed a built-in called the Wonderland: a sofa and lounge area with a queen bed on an upper deck, a dresser on one side and a desk on the other, so the room works hard and still leaves room for imagination.
