Driftwood is a new construction vacation home at Driftwood Golf Club, a Discovery Land Company community in the Texas Hill Country. A San Francisco family of five wanted a house that works two ways: a retreat for one person and a gathering place for extended family on holiday and tournament weekends. Cravotta Interiors led the interior program with Jenkins Design Build, who developed the architecture and managed construction. The direction leans Napa rather than Texan. Clean lines, a restrained palette, real materials. The plan follows how the family lives rather than standard room labels. Light white oak millwork, a wood slat ceiling, a cast bronze and onyx chandelier, Fern NYC sofas, steel and glass floating stairs, and a freeform hand-carved coffee table anchor the
main living spaces.
