The owners of this newly renovated home wanted a lifestyle backyard as an entertainment focal point for family and friends. The upper deck features a striking outdoor kitchen which is sheltered from sun and rain by a roof structure crafted from robust Douglas fir timbers. Larger groups are accommodated at the table for eight while casual dining is convenient at the custom composite countertop. The dazzling focal point of the yard is a 18’ x 42’ dry Gunite pool with premium PebbleTec white glass bead interior bordered by contrasting Wiarton flagstone coping. A matching raised ledgerock wall features three soothing sheer descent waterfalls set against a tall cedar privacy hedge. Just two steps down from the upper patio is the pool level, where a total of six chaise lounges are strategically placed for sun bathing. An adjacent patch of lawn provides contrast to the hardscapes, while the custom cedar fence separates the front and back yards and lends privacy. The adjoining cabana is clad in stone with board and batten to match the architecture of the home. It features a covered lounge area and three interior rooms, a washroom, a change room and pool equipment room which is accessed on the side. The entire backyard is illuminated with a LED lighting system that brings all the important elements to life after dark.
