Outdoor living was important to this Waxhaw family, but their original patio didn’t offer the comfort or function they needed. To solve that, we created a fully covered outdoor retreat designed for both relaxation and entertaining. The new space features a full masonry fireplace with a hand-crafted cedar mantel, a built-in Big Green Egg, and bar seating for guests. Warm cedar beams add architectural interest overhead, while a stamped concrete floor enhances both durability and visual appeal. By carefully matching the home's existing brick, the new structure integrates seamlessly with the original architecture. This backyard transformation followed a full kitchen remodel we completed for them earlier, tying together their indoor and outdoor spaces beautifully.
