This kitchen redesign was unusual in that we went against the trend and removed an island in favor of a more functional peninsula. This opened up the narrow space, created better traffic flow, multiple work zones and gives them a view of the backyard when standing at the kitchen sink.

Off white and soft grey-green cabinets paired with white countertops, brass accents and a traditionally classic wallpaper keep this modern day kitchen rooted in tradition.
