A large wall separating the dining room and living room was removed to open up the spaces to one another. A window was removed to make room for the large custom hood, which was the driver behind the entire design. The polished marble counters and backsplash reflect lots of light, while the dark soapstone on the island grounds the space. Raised panel cabinets, fluted turnings and crystal adorned orb chandeliers lend a traditional, classic and feminine quality to the space.
