In this Myers Park home, we transformed a neutral, all-white bedroom into a rich, moody retreat inspired by the tranquility of nature. The homeowner’s vision was to create a cozy, enveloping space that felt like a serene forest, and we brought that vision to life with a design that strikes the perfect balance between drama and calm.

The centerpiece of the room is the stunning peacock wallpaper, which served as the anchor for the entire color palette. To add depth and texture, we installed custom paneling on the lower walls and painted it, along with the doors and trim, in a deep, earthy green. The ceiling was painted in a complementary celery-sage green, brightening the space while maintaining the organic, natural feel.

In addition to the bedroom, we also addressed moisture concerns in the mudroom’s tub nook, which had been left untiled. We designed and installed a beautiful wall tile that not only solved the issue but also blended seamlessly with the existing renovation, creating a timeless, cohesive look. The walls, ceiling, and vanity in the mudroom were repainted in soft greens and a deeper greige, tying the two spaces together with a harmonious, nature-inspired palette.

This remodel brought warmth, character, and a sense of cohesion to the home, combining functionality with the homeowner’s desire for a cozy, nature-filled environment.
