Mecklenburg Ave Kitchen

WINNER OF THE 2018 NARI CHARLOTTE CHAPTER PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD.

This kitchen was once home to a 7' high popcorn ceiling and an awkward peninsula. By raising the ceiling to follow the roofline, we were able to increase the storage space, and make the space feel so much larger without moving any walls. The skylights add natural light in addition to the new recessed LED cans.

Dark colors tend to recede, while lighter colors come forward. This creates an illusion that the kitchen is larger than it actually is. White quartz counters bring the two colors together.
