The original floor plan of this kitchen was, for the most part, retained. The customer had their existing hardwood flooring refinished prior to the installation of new cabinetry. Slightly more contemporary flat panel painted cabinetry was used throughout. Granite counter tops and natural stone back splash tile finish this very updated look. One change that made a dramatic difference was the installation of a new casement window, which was dropped down to the countertop. This allows a much better view of the outdoors.
