This charming kitchen showcases what can be done with a simple update of the original kitchen. The customer opted to retain the original soffits, but wanted a more up to date feel. Design changes included getting rid of the peninsula and adding a small island. The fridge area was made larger in order to accommodate the addition of a small pantry, and cabinetry was added at the hallway area.

The original oak flooring was repaired before being completely sanded and refinished. The new cabinetry is from Bertch, and is in their St. James door style. The main cabinets are birch wood with an Eggshell paint with a Soft Brown glaze, while the island an hall cabinets are birch wood with Toffee stain and Brown glaze. Beautiful Nilo River granite was used throughout. The finishing touches include stainless steel appliances, a Shock granite sink and Oil Rubbed Bronze faucet and hardware.
