This wonderful master bathroom is an example of what can be done with a room that already had a good layout, but one in which the client wanted to bring it up to date.
We started by removing an over sized drop-in corner tub/platform in favor of a freestanding pedestal tub. The shower was made larger in order to accommodate a bench seat. The entire vanity area is hand made custom cabinetry, and includes features like a paneled ceiling, linen cabinets, open shelf area, and tiered crown molding. The cabinets also feature inset doors and drawers, all finished in Benjamin Moore Decorator White. Brizzo Baliza polished nickel faucetry and accessories were used throughout. The finishing touch though, is the made to order inlaid mosaic tile floor "rugs" and matching inlay in the shower. Both the inlaid tile and countertops were done in Calcutta marble. The result is a bright and open bathroom that is timeless in it's appeal.
