Kitchen (35)
Sometimes it is amazing how much can be improved upon in a kitchen remodeling project. This kitchen is a perfect example. The original kitchen had an over sized pantry, wall oven and cook top all on the short wall. The refrigerator was next to the back door, and a sit-at countertop was located between the kitchen and dining area.
The new layout has the fridge relocated closer to the dining room, and a 1-piece slide-in range to the left of the sink. This creates much more usable countertop space. The sit-at countertop was eliminated, and instead a large doorway was constructed. This allowed for a large 74" island, complete with seating for three. Other design cues include wine storage, an open cabinet with glass doors, and taller 36" high wall cabinets.
The main cabinetry is Bertch Northbrook in Snowflake paint, while the island cabinets are Bertch Northbrook, in birch wood with Shale stain. The countertops a gorgeous example of Rocky Mountain granite. The grey island contrasts beautifully with the Imola Koshi Grey 12” x 24” floor tile. Completing the room are all new stainless steel appliances.
