This kitchen already had a very functional footprint. Some of the customer's requests were; larger island, relocate the cooking appliances, eliminate the soffit as much as possible and a general upgrade of materials. The final product accomplished all of these and more.
The soffits are reduced to only 6" high, allowing for 36" wall cabinets. The cabinetry is Bertch Kitchen+ with the Malibu (flat panel) door style. The main cabinets are in birch wood with Snowflake paint, while the island cabinets are birch wood with a Sable pigmented stain. The countertops are Bianco Antico granite. New stainless steel appliances include a 30" double oven and chimney style range hood. Simple yet elegant ceramic subway back splash tiles, and large format porcelain floor tiles complete this wonderful transitional style kitchen.
