This kitchen client was very specific as to the look they were going for. They wanted the kitchen to fit the Mid-Century Modern look of their rancher, and yet at the same time do something a little fun. Their final selections fit the bill quite nicely.

While the layout could not be changed drastically, the location of the appliances were rearranged to allow for more work space. Added features include a 3rd seating area at the end of the range countertop, a custom tall cubby next to the fridge, and a tall cabinet/microwave area.

Materials started with Bertch Cabinety's frameless cabinet line, Elan. The upper cabinets are Riverside plank doors in birch with a Harvest stain. The lower cabinets are Clairmont plank doors in Sage paint. Countertops are Silestone White Storm Quartz. A Kohler Riverby cast iron sink blends in nicely with the counters. But, the finishing touch by far is the fun multi-color ceramic tile back splash.
