Kitchen/Breakfast Nook
This kitchen transformed a 1950's workspace. The original kitchen had windows filling the exterior wall, but lacked storage. The front windows are 7 feet wide and still provide 33" uppers on each side. Beams were used to visually separate the kitchen from the breakfast room and corridor.
Sheet vinyl floors were replaced with red oak to create a distinctive backdrop for the white and black cabinets.
