This shingle revival home embodies many of the elements of a 19th century New England Summer Cottage. Natural materials were used on the exterior to reflect an earlier time, and the setting on this 300 acre horse farm. Spaces inside and out were laid out to take advantage of the many views surrounding the house- hay fields, streams, wooded areas, and distant hilltops, as well as the farms own barns and rolling fields dotted with horses.
Daniel Contelmo Architects also provided Interior Design and Landscape Design for a seamless transition from the Great Room to the many porches, and into varied gardens.
