Dobbs Ferry Interior - Award Winner

The entry of this home is currently a finalist in the Westchester Home Magazine design competition.
This interior renovation worked entirely within the existing structure of the house. A few walls were constructed, but most of the work was done with interior finishes and custom built-ins. The split level residence presented many challenges to design and construction, but the result is a personal path through a home filled with beautiful details and thoughtful transitions.

Simple paneling on the cabinets highlights the natural beauty of the wood. A custom copper exhaust hood is a unique focal point. A 12'-0" island provides ample work space as well as seating for meals.

The open plan for the house requires many unique transitions. The Great Room can be viewed from the kitchen. The small brackets on the island and the black metal hardware provide continuity between the spaces.
