Limitless Living
This project involved a thoughtful redesign of several areas of the home to enhance wheelchair accessibility and incorporate Universal Design principles throughout. Key updates included adding a front porch ramp, combining and remodeling two bathrooms—one fully accessible and one semi-accessible off the Owner’s Suite—and adjusting the right side of the home to allow wheelchair access to the backyard. The FLD space was transformed into an accessible apartment with its own bedroom, bathroom, and a direct accessible path from the driveway. The updated kitchen features crisp white cabinetry, silver fixtures, a functional island with navy chairs, and warm hardwood flooring, blending style with ease of use for all residents.
