The original rancher and additions did not take advantage of the beautiful views of this five-acre property and the 1.5-acre pond. When the owners decided to renovate, the primary purpose was to increase the opportunities to view the pond and create a screened-in porch to wile away the summer hours. The house and property have many secluded views and areas to stop and spend time.

The entrance to the house was moved and the sun porch, converted from the original carport, was reconverted into additional bedrooms. The kitchen and family room were completely renovated and expanded to provide a more contemporary Great room.

The entire center of the house was opened to allow most of the rooms a direct view to the outside and pond. The master bedroom and bath were renovated and enlarged.

A new sun porch was added to the rear corner of the home. The circular screen wall allows views of the entire pond and a majority of the property. The screen wall can be enclosed with storm panels during the winter months and heat is provided by a wood-burning stove.
