Sweet Bay Master Bath Remodel
This contemporary master bathroom remodel in Wichita, Kansas transformed the space with a larger, more functional shower, updated vanity area, new tile, quartz countertops, refreshed lighting, and a built-in laundry closet.
Wichita Home Works’ in-house design team helped plan the new bathroom layout, finish selections, shower configuration, lighting updates, laundry closet location, cabinetry, tile design, and functional details so the finished space would feel cleaner, more comfortable, and better suited for daily use.
The project included removing the existing carpet, tub, tub deck, shower tile, shower door, vanity cabinets, countertops, toilet, wall tile, floor tile, baseboards, mirrors, fixtures, and outdated finishes. The new layout replaced the tub area with a more open and practical bathroom design, including a framed laundry closet with a louvered bifold door.
The shower features a new tiled surround, frameless glass door and panels, pebble mosaic shower floor, glossy gray wall tile, brown mosaic niche accent, brushed nickel trim, and a stainless dual-head waterfall shower panel system. The result is a more spa-like shower experience with a clean contemporary look.
The vanity area was updated with Natural White cabinetry, Stratus Aurora quartz countertops, two white oval sinks, Delta stainless faucets, brushed nickel vanity sconces, silver mirrors, and a full-height brown mosaic tile backsplash. The bathroom and water closet floors were finished with 12x24 tile, while Natural Gray wall paint and Natural White trim helped soften the overall palette.
Additional updates included a new bath fan, LED puck lighting, washer and dryer electrical/plumbing connections, dryer venting, new carpet in the adjoining master bedroom and office areas, brushed nickel hardware, towel bars, towel rings, toilet paper holder, and a freestanding bench.
This project is a strong example of a contemporary en suite bathroom remodel near Wichita that combines in-house design, shower remodeling, tile craftsmanship, quartz surfaces, updated lighting, laundry functionality, and polished finish details into one refreshed master bathroom.
