Kid friendly, gender neutral, and easy to clean was our goal for this children’s bathroom remodel in Pointe Claire and we had so much fun turning it around.
Large 24 inch subway tiles replaced the 6” tiles so less grout lines to clean; we used the slate grey tiles on the shower wall and the floor. No more cleaning glass or scrubbing shower door tracks. A shower curtain replaced the doors making the bath area easier to clean while adding to the décor.
To maintain shared space diplomacy we wall mounted two vanities with drawers so each child had its own space to store their toiletries. No more messy counter tops and the wall mounted vanity was a solution for a return air vent and an easy- to- clean floor. There is even a mirror and a GFI plug for each child.
The children chose the aqua blue color for one wall and a great base color for their planned ocean themed decor and accessories. We loved how it made the narrow bathroom appear wider.
Seeing the happy expressions on the children's faces when we unveiled the finished product was the best part of our job! We love what we do!
