NDG Veranda Reconstruction

Beautiful vintage porches and verandas take a huge amount of abuse over time and more often than not require reconstruction. This 120 sq.ft veranda in NDG was demolished and a new supporting structure was framed with pressure treated wood on the existing concrete footings after confirming that they were stable and usable. Select pine was used for finishing including the tongue and groove floor and ceiling, railings and columns and these were prime and covered with white exterior paint. A door was added to the Sienna pressure treated wood skirting for storage under the veranda. The new roof structure was shingled to match the existing roof of the home. A track system was installed for mosquito netting.
We used Sienna pressure treated wood to build the fence separating the driveway, the waste bin storage unit and a bicycle shelter. Not only was the exterior of this home newly renovated and organized but, due to great planning, our clients were able to enjoy it all summer long.
