The walls separating this 80's style kitchen from the dining room and a sun room were removed to create an open floor plan kitchen/living/dining room space with patio door access to a large deck and spacious back yard. Excavation and foundation work was done to the sun room to accept the extension of the kitchen. Two support beams were installed in the kitchen/dining room area to support the roof. A wall of new large windows were installed to provide a wealth of natural light in what previously was a very dark space. The new spacious kitchen was rebuilt with white melamine cabinetry, white and gray marble counter top and dark hardwood flooring added a dramatic contrast.
