HOME REMODEL DOLLARD DES ORMEAUX

This 80s was brought into the 21st century with its first ever remodel. Structural changes included the removal of the staircase and dining room walls to give the small footprint of the main floor the illusion of more space. The bulky fireplace was reframed over the stone and refinished with pine board and MDF giving it a clean modern look. Mosaic tile was installed on the façade and a 24x24 tile on the hearth. New hardwood throughout the house matched the new sleek open staircase. Doors and all trims were upgraded with modern profiles. The upstairs bathroom was remodeled with neutral colours and a glass partition on the bathtub to make it look wider. A bolder look was achieved in the powder room and the vestibule with a blue and white patterned tile.
