HOME ADDITION- NDG, Montreal

This addition at the back of our clients NDG home was a rebuild of a poorly constructed dining room extension on posts, which they inherited when they purchased the house. The entire structure, including the rotting wood deck, was demolished and replaced with a larger, 374 sq.ft, addition on the main floor and a full basement, giving our client his dream workshop.
A new french drain was connected to the existing one. Eco spray insulation was used throughout. Using similar brick, the new extension is seamless and looks like it always belonged there. We kept the same profile on the new window and patio door, the mullions and transoms fit with the older, turn of the century style of the home. The intricate base trims and crown moldings matched those of other living spaces.
The deck was reconstructed with high performance, no maintenance composite flooring, railings and posts. The brown fence separating the yard from the neighbors is also composite.
Now these lovely grandparents can enjoy numerous dinners with their children and grandchildren in a spacious, comfortable and beautiful new dining room. They were such a pleasure to work with!
