21st Court Project

Generally, attempts at neutrals or earthen tones tend to fall flat, spiraling into a soulless banality that feels entirely uninspiring - not a desirable trait in a culinary creation zone.

But when these hues are maneuvered with a savvy hand, the space can deliver a profound sense of zen and meditation worthy of a luxury spa. In this Sammamish, Wa. remodel, those luxuriant tones intermingle beautifully with quality materials to hit exactly the right mark — calm, grounded, and quietly luxurious.

Of Note — Detail is king! This cabinetry features a level of furniture-quality detailing that few manufacturers achieve successfully. A prime example is the Shaker doors: instead of the typical .25" recessed center panel, we specified a delicate .125" recess. The result is a wonderfully soft and subtle play of shadow that elevates the entire kitchen and gives it a refined, custom-furniture presence that sets it apart from ordinary casework.

*As PNW interior designers and interior architects who specialize in space planning and functional design for remodels throughout the greater Seattle region, we love creating environments where thoughtful material choices and fine detailing come together to produce timeless, deeply calming spaces that feel as good as they look.
