Evergreen
This Medina, Wa. living space is now invigorating and brilliant, with a delectable smattering of rock & roll personality woven throughout. What was once a dark and dreary room is now flooded with glorious natural light, anchored by beautiful furnishings (those green chairs are still favorites) and stunning, nicely framed high-end grunge rock posters. The result feels like a much more sophisticated family “man-cave” — warm, energetic, and welcoming to everyone.
Of Note — Every family has their “thing.” Whether it’s movies, gourmet cooking, audiophile gear, vintage cameras, or even antique glass bottles (we once worked with a client who collected vintage firehose nozzles — they were fantastic!). For this family, it’s their impressive collection of high-end grunge rock posters. We made sure those treasured pieces were thoughtfully integrated into the space planning, because fully celebrating what you love should always be part of creating a truly personal and functional home.
*As PNW interior designers and interior architects specializing in space planning and functional design for remodels throughout the greater Seattle region, I love helping families turn ordinary rooms into spaces that reflect their passions while becoming brighter, more connected, and genuinely livable.
