This client was worried that the long, narrow space available for the kitchen would not avail itself to a functioning, workable space. No problem! We recognized the perceived difficulties as positives to be explored and provided several solutions. There was also an unsightly laundry area at the end that made poor use of the beautiful light available there. We sequestered the washer/dryer within handsome cabinetry leaving ample room for a secondary kitchen space that provides fantastic function for the way these clients prep, cook and entertain. Across from the laundry center is a small mudroom bench with ample storage.
