A previous client called us to renovate a bath in her Waltham Highlands home. The house is closest to a Victorian Shingle - popular in the United States from 1840 to 1900. Although the goal was to update the bathroom, the homeowner still wanted to keep a period feel in the space. We worked with her to choose components that reflect the period but with all the modern conveniences in today's homes.

The William Morris wallpaper, Golden Lily, became the guiding decorative element of the bath. The Feinmann design team reallocated space from the adjacent study to enlarge the bathroom, specifically the shower enclosure. The vanity and another storage piece were designed to look like pieces of furniture with rubbed bronze hardware. The vanity and "highboy" cabinet were created through Greenfield with Peacock Green granite surfaces. The mosaic in the shower is composed of handmade tiles. The floor is Honey Onyx and Olivine in a basket weave pattern. The other tile through the bath is Neri Bone.
