Refined Treasure
Feinmann remodeled the kitchen and master bathroom in this beautiful brick townhouse classic in Brookline, MA. The homeowners were looking for a more modern space while still showcasing their stunning, more traditional stacked moulding in the kitchen – the perfect blend of two styles.
The Kitchen
The kitchen delivers a completely different modern feeling with expansive light throughout the space and much cleaner lines. Specifically, the kitchen features maple North America Cabinets finished in custom white painted Fraser raised back doors. Glass display cabinets surround the perimeter of the kitchen drawing the eyes up towards the stacked moulding that now seamlessly integrates with the space. The island with seating for three features a natural black walnut finish, while the perimeter counter is done in darker finish (Cambria Charlestown Honed) creating a recognizable contrast between the two counters. Functional display shelving is nicely placed above the stove and next to the refrigerator for quick access to glassware and to safely tuck away their coffee station leaving more counter room for creating in the kitchen. Finishing this space is a clean and simple stone white ceramic backsplash contributing to the bright space.
The Master Bathroom
The Master Bathroom exudes a sense of richness and luxury while delivering a contemporary space with depth and warmth. The shower features a focal wall of Dolomite Honed herringbone marble tile complimented by a larger 12x24 Dolomite Honed marble tile, a staggered 2 cm marble floor, and a built-in bench. The free-standing double vanity by LaCava finished in Smoky Walnut beautifully compliments the damask patterned wall paper that brings a modern twist on a vintage print. The master bathroom is finished with slim Clout Small Sconces by Circa Lighting.
