An outdoor trellis and storage structure were cleared away to make room for this ~500 sf kids study addition. The room is light-filled and light-feeling; a generous window seat is perfect for reading and napping. A central work table can be used for collaboration on assignments or playing games. Built-in desks provide more focused study area.

Ikea shelves were used in the corner, and CG&S built shelves above the workspace. CG&S built the window seat as well (instead of subbing out to a cabinet maker). The space is open to the rest of the home.
