South Lamar Kitchen Liberation

The primary goal of this project was to make a small, dark, badly organized kitchen a space that was full of light and conducive to cooking. Walls were removed to open the kitchen to adjacent spaces, and a skylight was added towards the kitchen's center, taking advantage of new vaulted ceiling framing. All new appliances were purchased, and a plethora of new finishes overlap in the space: leather wrapped bar, silestone, granite, oak floors, stained alder cabinets, frosted glass cabinet fronts, painted island cabinets, and glass mosaic tile at the backsplash.
