This home was constructed in 1902 and moved to Austin from Brady, TX, by previous owners. Our clients saw the home come up for sale and were smitten by the small town Victorian gem ensconced in the semi-rural woods of south Austin, but couldn’t manage to buy it. They moved on to develop plans for a newly-constructed house. But then the Victorian came back on the market, and this time, this time it was theirs.

When they approached us for renovation, we adapted the design elements that had been developed for the new-build, applying them to the Victorian home where appropriate. The result is a harmonious blending of original elements and contemporary design. There is no uncanny disconnect between old and new spaces. The home is ready for another era.
