The gap between this pre-existing pool and the back of the home was a hot, sun-blasted place that need some kind of transition. CG&S devised a generous porch with plenty of seating, and a bar for a full-on outdoor kitchen with grilling station. The pool deck was redone and extended towards the porch in a seamless expanse. The kitchen is so effective that the clients often use it exclusively, and who can blame them; being outside and lounging in comfort is one of the great pleasures of life!
