Our design takes advantage of both of these with expanses of tempered glass on the west elevation. A dramatic steel-framed/wood clad overhang acts as a sturdier and handsomer version of a traditional "patio cover", creating both shade for the west-facing living areas and a protected outdoor space overlooking the pool.
