Living in the same home for over 20 years, this couple decided they could either move or do a makeover. Since moving wasn't an option, the makeover won. They needed space that would accommodate their kids and grandkids and wanted an open area where everyone was together. To make this dream a reality, they had to remove walls to build the island; making their U-Shaped kitchen into an L-Shaped Kitchen with more storage, working space, and added value.
