The Home Owner's appreciation of automobiles and racing is reflected in the design and color palette of her kitchen. The home owner fell in love with Big Chill Appliances as soon as she saw them and gave herself the challenging task of fusing these design concepts together. The homeowner who is a stunt driver was inspired by Steve McQueen’s Porsche 917 racecar in the movie ‘Le Mans’. She came up with a Mid-Century Modern twist using orange with touches of powder blue. You can even see a model of this particular Porsche 917 displayed on one of the kitchen counters.
