Boston Brownstone is a renovation of a beautiful Back Bay brownstone for a bachelor with an eclectic art collection, from which Marcia made careful selections to define each room. Marcia simplified, styled, and organized the two floors to better support her client's lifestyle. She exposed the closets in the bedroom and office alike to allow easier access while simultaneously opening up each space and creating visual interest. She refinished the floors, and designed and installed new baseboard molding, crown molding, skim-coated the walls, and painted the interior with a completely new, lighter color palette. All of the lighting fixtures and furnishings, which are a combination of Marcia’s custom designs and store-bought pieces, are new. The result is eclectic and elegant, comfortable and inviting.
