In this living room, I wanted to emphasize the spaces formal attributes - stark white walls, light angled wood floors, and the focal point, the fireplace with wood mantel and moudling. I added some darker accents - ornamental area rug, with red accents, and dark wood coffee table along with two neutral settees. The shining star to this space, other than the intricate fireplace, is the gilded, antiqued, mirror. To make the room feel more complete, added were a gold based lamp, some silver candlesticks, and a floral accent.
