Our client’s large, traditional Tudor home in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Alameda reflects their desire for a home with a hotel feel and a spectacular entrance. Centered around hosting and entertaining, we began with a welcoming design program for the social living and dining spaces.

The home’s existing architecture spanned various design eras, so we highlighted the most impactful and authentic period details by selecting appropriate wall treatments and window coverings. Custom furnishings and vintage art give the rooms a casual elegance, while bold colors and a grand piano add polish.
