In keeping with the existing structures throughout the property the color palette was already determined so material and assembly options became vital in the design of this structure. The copper roof, cedar siding, exposed douglas fir rafter tails and tongue and groove heart pine inside are natural fits for the idyllic location. In addition hand-crafted roof brackets and the refined staircase and baluster inside the entry hall make for a warm, rustic environment.
