Salazar Home Remodel

We came in at the end of an extensive remodel project for this expansive and breathtaking zen-like home in the Pinehurst Country Club Estates, an upscale Southwest suburban area of Denver, CO. The client had been presented solar screens as a solution for these large glass curtain walls with a southern exposure to the golf course. While a solar screen will work for a large expansive opening where privacy is not required, it is still a screen fabric, filtering the sun based on the openness factor of the material. Our proposed solution is a treatment more functional, yet elegant and fitting for the scale of these nearly floor to ceiling glass walls, the Hunter Douglas Luminette Privacy Sheers. Luminette provides the soft elegance of drapery sheers with a precision seam to a structured fabric vane that combined, provides soft filtration of incoming daylight with the option to control that light and control privacy by the directional rotation of the vanes. Many of the large openings were pre-wired for low-voltage motorized shades and we took advantage of that with PowerView Motorization. Each room has it’s own PowerView Remote for local control but the PowerView Hub provides the ability to control the shades by room and by scenes set to an automated schedule.
