The clients had an existing railing that was unsafe and unsightly. Being on the lake, they wanted to enhance the view of the water while also making a much sturdier and safer railing.
We used Deckorator brand glass balusters with western red cedar supports to really open the view up for them. An aluminum gate that is self closing and self latching was installed at the top of the stairs to insure that their small children and pets would have a safe place to play outside and enjoy the view of the lake.
Once everything is re-stained, the existing deck and new railing will really help to give their lakeside yard a whole new fresh feel while greatly enhancing their fantastic view.
